QUALIFICATION CERTIFICATE
Manufacturers/producers and/or importers have to establish service stations to provide aftersale services for the goods included in the list annexed to the Regulations, for each group of goods, for the entire use life of the goods. They also have to make sufficient number of thechnicians available for this purpose. However, they may provide such aftersale services by means of previously established service stations by executing service contracts with them.

DOCUMENS REQUIRED FOR APPLICATION TO AFTERSALE SERVICES QUALIFICATION CERTIFICATE

1. An application with a number obtained from Internet (to the General Directorate for Protection of Consumers and Competetion, Ministry of Industry)
2. Aftersale Services Qualification Certificates in 3 copies, printed by the Ministry (certificates to be prepared for each service scope may be obtained form the Ministry or Industrial Directorates)
3. Lists in 3 copies showing service stations
4. An original certificate of conformity or approved copy of T.S.E. Service Qualification or notarized copy of the original
5. A notarized copy of the signature warrant of the manufacturer/producer and/or importer.

POINTS TO BE CONSIDERED WHEN PREPARING THE REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

1. The goods requiring an aftersale service qualification certificate or the application where the goods is found will be stated.
2. The address on the certificate, the address of the head office (registered in the trade register), except for certificate issue date and sales section, will be filled by typing; the scope of services indicated in the service station qualification certificate or conformity certificate by the Ministry will be specified in services scope section.
3. An authorized person should write the name and address of the service station and then it should be signed and stamped.
4. The expiry dates of the T.S.E business qualification certificates or any certificates issued by the Ministry should not have elapsed as of the application date. They should be in compliance with the standard or the product group stated in the application.

The name of the manufacturer/producer and/or importer should be clearly written in T.S.E. business qualification certificates. If a service station offers services under a manufacturer/producer and/or importer’s standard, the name should be written under that standard.
