How to apply for a working permit?
Applications should be made to the Turkish Representations in case of outside Turkey and directly to the Ministry in case of inside Turkey. A foreign person should make an application to a Turkish Representation located in a state of which a foreign person is a subject or where they live permanently. The documents required for application should be submitted by the employer of the foreigner to the Ministry within three working days at the latest from the date of application.
If a foreigner has a residence permit of six months as a minimum inside Turkey, then he/she can make an application directly to the Ministry, provided that the residence permit should not have expired.
A foreigner who has made an application for and obtained a working permit from outside Turkey must receive a residence permit from the Police Department.
